Eleven years ago, I walked into my first funeral home. It marked the beginning of a career that would become a calling. I cared for families’ loved ones, listened to their wishes, and realised I wanted to help craft memories through writing.
This is where you meet me today. Drawing on my background as a Funeral Service Operative and Funeral Arranger, I now specialise in providing high-quality, bespoke writing services. I craft eulogies and epitaphs tailored to honour each individual's memory and help families express their sentiments with sensitivity and care.
During my years of experience overseeing the arrangements of so many funerals, I witnessed the difficulties families had in trying to communicate the deep love they had for those who had so recently passed away. I observed how much pressure families were under to stay strong and organise, how there was often so little time or space left merely to remember, to value a loved one through that act of remembering.
Finding the words to speak at a funeral requires not only this challenging process of reflection, but also the freedom to articulate what we really feel. And just because we may not be able to find the words at the time, does not mean we did not love the person with whom we shared so many precious moments. In fact, in my experience, the opposite is often the case. The words for a eulogy are the hardest to form for those deepest in their grief.
